MM is an outstanding preschool. The teachers’ love and dedication to the children create the perfect environment for learning and developing. My daughter has been in MM for the last 2 years after a not too pleasant experience in another preschool. Kids grow up understanding the importance of being a good human being and the importance of respect for others while learning all the milestones need it to start first grade. Thanks for such an education for my daughter; I am waiting for my son to be potty train to send him too.Submitted by a parent

My daughter started Mesa Montessori once she was potty trained and the education and attention she receives there is amazing. When we went to our first visit there it was great to see that all the students were calm as all the children work together with the older ones helping the younger. We knew immediately it was where we wanted her to be and glad we decided to enroll her as her development has exceeded our expectations. The teachers are caring and attentive and have helped my child grow into an observant learner – she loves to declare herself as a teacher as well when she shows me her day’s work. I would highly recommend MM and look forward to my smaller children attending there soon.

It is a hidden gem

My daughter has attended Mesa Montessori for 3 years through Kindergarten. The environment was geared to children development, the staff is great, and she learned so much. She learned without being pushed and understood Multiplication and Division by the end of Kindergarten, she knew of all US presidents, and was reading chapter books. She also embroidered a pillow as kindergarten project, and it was incredible. She misses her school so much that she goes back visit very often. It is a hidden gem.

This school is amazing

This school is amazing. My daughter started when she was 3, attended for 3 years and completed kindergarten here. I was continually amazed at, not just her academic gains in the area of reading and math, but also culture and the arts. She has corrected me on why type of cloud is in the sky and which composers are classical versus baroque. She also loves learning, is well organized and continues to do great in elementary school. I attribute that to her strong beginnings at Mesa Montessori. I have already come to grips with the fact that we will never again have teachers as dedicated and devoted to our child as the teachers at this school. As soon as my 2 year old is potty trained, he will start at Mesa Montessori too.

Best Kept Secret in the Valley for Pre-k and Kindergarten!

My daughter attended Mesa Montessori and now my 2-year old son attends this school; I could write a book of praises but I will say in just a few sentences:
1. There is NO teacher turn-over at this school. The same teachers and administrator have been working at this school since the 1980’s.
2. Your kids will be be in highly capable, humane and extremely experienced and exceptionally trained hands.
3. This is not a corporate environment; your children will excel and learn to socialize with their peers in an atmosphere conducive to learning.

I love the school!

I love this school! My daughter have been attending Mesa Montessori for  1 1/2 years. Not only kids learn with great enthusiasm and self motivation, but also, they are happy kids!
Teachers are great, Patty has been in the school for more than 20 years. Her experience and love for teaching goes beyond what parents expect for education. Kids are respectfully to their pairs, plants, animals and everything that you can imagine. I ‘d dare say that Mesa Montessori is a home away from Home!Submitted by a parent

Excellent Education

My twins have attended Mesa Montessori since they were 3½ years old, and I cannot say more about how much my kids have learned from this school.  My son started learning to read before he turned 4.  My daughter knows about the continents and could name all 50 states in the US when she was 4.  They are now 5½ and can read almost everything you put in front of them.  They sight read. They started learning to spell.  There is so much learning that takes place in this school; if I made the list, this comment will be many pages long.

The most interesting thing I have observed is that the kids are not forced to learn.  They were encouraged to learn through observing their peers, and then they requested the teacher to teach them.  The teachers are extremely effective and are able to get concept across to kids very well.  So, the school does not only give them academic materials but also the willingness to learn that comes from within.  My kids can’t wait to go to school.  All the teachers are very attentive and are interested in kid’s education and their performance.  I also made friends with many parents and enjoyed exchanging information on our kids.  And last but not least…the school will heat up lunch for kids and let you do a curve side drop off and pick up – these are definitely a plus on top of all the good things the school provide.  Get your kids in there if you don’t want to waste their brain power at the most critical time of their development!  You will be grateful.
